Our test server will be a shared hosting package in Germany to mimic a real-world scenario.

The demo site install is not a good comparison since the demo content is not equal, so we can only use those as a reference for how they would perform on a live site.
Winner: GeneratePress. Even though Astra shows excellent performance and loads in under 1.5 seconds for all tests, GeneratePress still outperforms it by a tiny fraction, particularly on a fresh install.

However, the default WooCommerce customizer options are excluded from this.
There are only a few small things that are unique to GeneratePress when it comes to WooCommerce integration.
Most of them are toggles such as the ability to display a secondary image on product hover, show a flash sale, display product count, display sorting, etc.
While Astra can technically do most of these, GeneratePress offers finer control on these particular elements.
